Gorillas in the Mist, Sort of

The Bronx may not be as picturesque as, say, the Congo, but where else can you catch a glimpse of large, cuddly-looking primates?

For all you wannabe Jane Goodalls out there, the Bronx Zoo is celebrating the tenth anniversary of their famous Congo Gorilla Forest exhibit.

On Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer, you can feel like a kid all over again and view North America’s largest group of western lowland gorillas for half the price of admission. Tickets include admission to the zoo, plus special exhibits like the Congo Gorilla Safari and the Children's Zoo.
