Rolling on the River

I'm on a nautical kick this week. I guess I'm just eager for it to be summer and feel like summer!
The best way to observe the New York night skyline is by boat, unless you live in New Jersey, but I'd never recommend that!

Cruising down the East River is a great way to enjoy the good weather (we're still waiting, Mother Nature) and the company of friends.

Through Labor Day, the twelve-minute water taxi between East 34th Street in Manhattan and Hunter's Point Water Taxi Beach, normally $5, will be free from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Friday nights and 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. on Saturdays.

Water taxis leave at set times, so arrive early to get an ideal seat!
