Happy 4th of July!The weather finally seems to be cooperating (fingers crossed) and everyone is in a festive summertime mood.
In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the exploration of the river by Henry Hudson, this year the Macy's fireworks are moving across town to the sparkling Hudson River -- just one more reason to love the West Side!
A colorful display of fireworks will be launched from six barges spanning from W. 23rd to W. 50th Street, commencing approximately at 9:00 p.m. tomorrow night.
Get there early to secure a spot or hijack a friend's West Side rootop!
