Cupcakes for the Cure

As the temperatures get chillier, comfort food is constantly on my mind. Cupcakes are comfort snacks for New Yorkers as evidenced by the various bakeries that have cropped up all over the city over the past few years.


This month there is a way to use your sweet tooth to do a little good.


October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the famous CRUMBS cupcake shop is doing its part by selling a special Pink Ribbon Cupcake. The cupcakes are $3.75 and for each purchased, $1 is donated to the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund.
