New York is home to many starving artists, but if you truly classify as one there's little chance you'll actually be able to afford to enjoy the art for which you're starving. New York may be the theatre capital of the United States, she makes you pay for it.
But every once and a while performance-hungry audiences catch a break. Today is that day.
In celebration of the opening of the day-of discount box office at Lincoln Center's David Rubenstein Atrium, New Yorkers can take advantage of $20 for 20 days.
Beginning today and continuing through January 26, audiences can score $20 tickets to select Lincoln Center performances by lining up at the Zucker Box Office at noon daily. Tickets are first come, first served and limited to two per person. Present your tickets at participating neighborhood restaurants on the day of your scheduled performance and receive additional discounts.
