The recent passing of one of literary world's greatest and most elusive writers has led to a flood of memorial outpourings.
Honoring J.D. Salinger's memory March 16-April 11, The Morgan Library & Museum will display 11 letters written by the late author. The letters span 40 years and offer a rare glimpse into his secluded life. They cover a range of topics from marriage, work, travel, parenthood, and self-imposed isolation.
