The Center for Book Arts (yes, New York has a center for everything!) celebrates summer with Bene-Fete, a party complete with refreshments, music and the opportunity to buy books and prints from local artists, including Rosaire Appel, Maddy Rosenberg/Central Booking, Purgatory Pie Press, Catya Plate, Liz Zanis, Beatrice Coron, Susan Mills, Rory Golden, James Prez, Barbara Henry, Iviva Olenick, Evelyn Eller, Heidi Neilson, Sally Tosti, Leah Oates, Champe Smith, and Karen Bell.
The event is free and open to the public. Stop by between 5:00 and 9:00 PM. Get there before 6:00 PM to check out the current exhibitions.
