Music Among the Trees

Despite cooling temperatures, New York's parks are still luring visitors with outdoor activities to enjoy the fall foliage. 

Madison Square Park's Studio Series 2010 kicked off this weekend with the first of its free fall concerts focusing on folk, blues and Americana. Concerts occur at 3:00 PM every Saturday through October 9.  

Musicians like Anais Mitchell, Guy Davis and The Waymores will hit the stage at the southern end of the park. Bring food and blankets or arrive early to grab a café seat and shake from Shake Shack.
