Baking for a Cause

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it's time to begin reflecting on what we're all thankful for and channeling some of that gratitude toward doing good for others. 

Forty local designers (United Bamboo, Paul Loebach) conjure up confectionery treats as part of Caked Up, a benefit for nonprofit Art Start, which provides at-risk NYC youth a creative outlet to change their lives. For $10, guests can salivate at what's been baked for the cause and reap the tasty rewards when the cakes are eaten at the end of the night. It all starts at 7:00 PM at Murphy & Dine Gallery.
