I often say that I would be happy to never have to drive again -- and I mean it. I'm a sucker for public transportation and my own two good feet.
That being said, I know that other New Yorkers often miss their days of suburban off-oading. And it's for them that I dedicate today's post.
The annual New York International Auto Show is currently taking over the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, host to many fine events, including my sister's graduation from NYU in a few weeks.
This is the last weekend to drool over custom cars, Bentleys and fancy cars with names I've never heard uttered before -- if you're into that sort of thing. Ryan Tuerck from the Red Bull Drift Team will also be on hand to talk about racing cars.
Here's what you need to know:
Tickets: $14 for adults
Time: Mon-Sat, 10am-10pm; Sun, 10am-7pm
