Get the Scoop

Everyone’s hawking ice cream for charity these days.

Tonight, from 5:00-10:00 p.m., Baskin-Robbins -- famous for their 31 flavors -- is hosting “31 Cent Scoop Night”. Participating stores will reduce prices of small ice cream scoops to 31 cents. As part of the deal, Baskin-Robbins will honor America’s firefighters with a $100,000 donation to the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC), a non-profit membership association representing the interests of the volunteer fire, EMS and rescue services.

Not sure the connection between ice cream and firefighters, but I support cheap scoops and charity donations!
