A little Sunday pick-me-up

New York’s got a soft spot for cupcakes. Magnolia, Billy’s, Buttercup – the list seems to grow daily.

This Sunday, June 21, to celebrate the summer solstice (how very Shakespearean!), CRUMBS Bake Shop is helping its customers get through the longest day of the year by offering a free coffee (hot or iced) with the purchase of any cupcake. CRUMBS also just introduced the Jolt Cupcake, so caffeine fiends might want to try that while scooping up the free coffee.

To get in on the promotion, just mention “SUGAR RUSH” when you stop by any of the CRUMBS locations – they seem to be popping up all over town here in NYC and apparently have some spots in Connecticut, New Jersey and California as well.

I have to admit, CRUMBS does have the best variety and the most creativity in their recipes – not to mention the mere size of their cupcakes!
