Who doesn’t love free stuff?
Cool down with a free Slurpee tomorrow. In celebration of July 11 (a.k.a. 7/11), 7-Eleven stores will give away 7.11 oz. Slurpees to customers.
It seems like 7-Eleven just keeps adding to their flavors, everything from Jolly Rancher Green Apple and Fanta Blue Raspberry to Melon Berry Twist and Twizzler Strawberry. Of course, there are always the classics -- Coca-Cola and Dr. Pepper.
Slurpees make me nostalgic for late-night, post-bar trips to the local 7-Eleven in college. I always thought of 7-Eleven as a suburban phenomenon, but even New York City has the convenience store chain, so New Yorkers get in line.
