This weekend was jam-packed with activities, yet somehow perfectly relaxing and calm. The highlight was definitely seeing my good friend Leah receive her yellow cord in capoeira at her first batazido, a sort of martial arts baptism. Congrats, Leah!
The Afro-Brazilian martial art, which really looks more like a beautiful dance routine, is incredible to watch.Those who excel are strong and have almost acrobatic moves. It's seriously mesmerizing to watch!
