Today's post is dedicated to FF's favorite New York organization -- The Family Center.
The Family Center provides comprehensive legal and social services to New York City children whose parents have terminal illnesses. As a volunteer for the past three years, I know first-hand the benefit that this non-profit provides to local families.
For those who don't have the time or funds to regularly support a cause, this is your chance. The Family Center's Bids for Kids event takes place on Friday, November 13, from 7:00-10:00 PM at Marquee.
For a $45 ticket, a steal for a charity event in NYC, you can enjoy open bar, hors 'doeuvres, a silent auction, comedy performances and a date auction!
