The Sounds of Music

With concert tickets upwards of $100 these days, free music performances are not easy to come by... unless you live in NYC.

Carnegie Hall's Neighborhood Concert Series, held annually September-June, features free music performances by Carnegie Hall's favorite groups to neighborhoods throughout all five boroughs of New York City.

Classical, jazz, Latin, tango, klezmer, Gospel, folk, contemporary, and world music is presented in collaboration with museums, colleges, libraries, community centers, churches, and cultural organizations around the city.

Schedules are posted online and concerts take place all nights of the week.
