The World's Most Famous Playwright Comes to NYC

Despite the wet grass and gray skies, Central Park summer tradition Shakespeare in the Park begins its seasonal run tonight at the Delacorte Theater.

"The Winter's Tale" and "The Merchant of Venice" (starring Al Pacino) will be performed in repertory for eight consecutive weeks.

Tickets are free and can be reserved online or at the Delacorte Theater. All performances begin at 8:00 PM.
