The one thing I've always admired about Europeans is the importance they place on meals. As a harried, hurried New Yorker, I'm usually stuffing a Subway sandwich in my mouth as I'm running from one thing to another.
Next week rings in one of the few times a year New Yorkers enjoy their food and sit still for more than 15 minutes.
Monday kicks off New York Restaurant Week (July 12-25). More than 250 restaurants participate and offer foodies prix fixe lunch and dinner options for $24.07 and $35, respectively. Deals are only valid Monday-Friday.
Reservations are a must!
