Blood Manor (542 W. 27th Street between 10th and 11th Aves.) - Expect werewolves and lots of carnage, per the name of this haunted house.  www.bloodmanor.com

NYC Halloween Haunted House (115 W. 27th Street between 6th and 7th Aves.) - This one's not for the faint of heart. Increasing the scare factor, visitors must walk through one-by-one.  www.nychalloweenhauntedhouse.com

Fear on 21st Street (12 W. 21st between 5th and 6th Aves.) - Fear on 21st Street is the newest haunted house on the block. This year's theme is the criminally insane. www.fear21ticketing.com
