A View from the Sidelines

You may never have run more than a mile in your life, but The ING New York City Marathon was created for all kinds. If you can't beat 'em, become a spectator among the crowds.

Marathon Sunday is one of NYC's most celebrated events. This weekend, thousands of men and women from around the world will tighten their laces and hit the pavement for 26+ miles.

Support those more athletically inclined by grabbing some friends and scouting out a spot along the course to cheer 'til your hoarse. It's free, it's fun and maybe it will even inspire you to run next year.

Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for Chilean miner Edison Pena.
